Also, one of the users on the Adobe forums openly stated that the performance issues made him forgo Lightroom in favor of Photoshop. I don’t understand why Adobe hasn’t addressed this. I don’t think it’s fair for users to long for a functional app, but once it arrives, they don’t want any more features than they already have. It just needs to work.

Some changes in Photoshop Express come with the version 2023 update. You can now delete images or groups from the App, and there’s a better contrast slider that bears more of a resemblance to the steps found in the Image Browser in Photoshop. Support for Smart Filters is available here again for those who want to use the new filter, but it doesn’t yet work with the new color curves and Contour Mixer tools. Photoshop Express on Android and iOS will get a new look as well. The update will bring previews of any edits you make to the original image, similar to what’s seen here in the toolbar.
