As any recent Photoshop review would tell you, this is software that needs to be available to everyone and it is available. However, I would like to see Adobe devote more resources in their development of Lightroom in the future, in an attempt to create a truly excellent and inspiring image management tool. Only time will tell how all this will develop. In the mean time, if you prefer, you can still use Photoshop. I have learned to accept that Lightroom is the future of Adobe and I use it for 99% of my imaging. I also hope that some of the performance issues won’t turn into the same level of frustration that has plagued me over the years. It is great to see that Fuji has already adopted an evolving software solution that can now support their new sensor. Now it is time for Adobe to pick up the pace and let’s see if they can address these concerns. I look forward to seeing where the future will take us.
