Thanks for the review. However, Lightroom 5 is more than a new edition. It is the “first” version. For this reason I would personally not make a judgment about the new edition. All we have are the beta previews and the q&a from Adobe.
Even if someone has complaints about the first version this does not reflect about the future. In my opinion the only bad thing about Lightroom 5 is the new catalog engine. This is only a “bridge” to the future. I hope that this is only the start of the new catalog engine. Regarding the templates in Lightroom 5.2 it is planned a new feature to label them. This makes use of the new catalog engine and will certainly help us.
