Moreover, you can protect the backups with a password, configure job settings (e.g. apply the purging options to the user-defined copy folder) and set a post-task action (e.g. shutdown computer, log off user).
OutBack Plus also integrates a feature available through a separate executable file called Backup Now! which automatically loads and performs a prior backup session (once you make all the necessary adjustments to the job properties).
The program uses a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, has a good response time and takes reasonable time to complete a scan and backup job. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing, since OutBack Plus did not hang, crash or pop up error notifications. There is also a help file available.
On the downside, files with very long names (over 260 characters) cannot be included in the backup, since they are considered invalid by the tool. But, even so, OutBack Plus should please all users who want to preserve the integrity of their sensitive data.
